Healthy Harbor Walking Tour
Monday, April 21 • 2:00PM – 4:00PM
To join the tour, please meet on the Jones Falls Walking Bridge located between the Pier VI concert pavilion and the Marriott Waterfront Hotel. It is a 90 minute walking tour of the Inner Harbor’s “Living Laboratory” of demonstration projects that are helping to clean the water and improve the ecosystem of the Harbor and the Bay. You will tour floating wetlands, Inner Harbor Oyster Gardens and visit rain gardens. You will get to see live spat (baby oysters) that are living in the Harbor and learn about what other plants and animals thrive in this habitat.
